This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull official documents, file paperwork, or issue certified copies for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Michigan has no single statewide clerk counter. Local case files, probate records, original marriage licenses, jail rosters, and warrant confirmation route through the county directory. State agencies hold separate statewide records. Here is where to look:
- Court case files: open the county directory to reach the clerk's office for your specific county
- Marriage and divorce records: see marriage and divorce records
- Probate, wills, and estates: see probate records
- State criminal history: use Michigan State Police ICHAT; use the county court for source case documents
- State prison and supervision: use Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS; use the county sheriff for a local jail roster
- Certified statewide vital records: use the MDHHS Division for Vital Records and Health Statistics
- Driving records: use the Michigan Department of State or Secretary of State service
- Active warrants: see warrant records
- Other county records: open the county directory and select your county
